The BI Island Cash Service Expedition Team Failed Le Kasambau Island

The BI Island Cash Service Expedition Team did not go to Kasambau Island, which was originally scheduled to be finally reached, after being approached, was not inhabited, so the range was diverted to Matasiri Island. Though the team has reached the island.

The island's cash services are made directly to the public as well as to the existing banking system. Of the 4 isolated islands, there are only 3 banks, namely Bank Jatim and BRI in Kangean Island, and BPRS owned by Sumenep regency in Sapeken Island.

In addition to serving the exchange of rupiah, the Expedition Team also conducted socialization and education about the characteristics of the original money and how to distinguish it from the counterfeit, and how to treat money well so that the age of money circulation in due time.

Arrived at the Port of Trisakti Banjarmasin, Monday (26/3/2018), West Java Cash Expedition Team KPw Jatim welcomed BI officials KPw South Kalimantan, among them Division Head Mohd Irwan.

The Bank Indonesia Islands Cash Expedition Team has finished its task and left the finish spot of Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, on Tuesday (27/3/2018), The expedition team consisted of 15 BI personnel from KPw Jatim, Head Office, KPW Kalsel, Malang Branch Office, Kediri and Blitar, plus 3 journalists, and 25 members of TNI-AL ABK KRI Sidat-851.
